About
Independent. Expert-reviewed. No manufacturer bias.
Our Mission
About Elevators exists because the elevator industry needed an independent knowledge resource. Too much online information is manufacturer marketing dressed as education, or generic content written by people who have never been inside a hoistway.
We provide technical knowledge that elevator professionals, building owners, and the curious public actually need — written by certified technicians and inspectors, reviewed by subject-matter experts, and published with full transparency about authorship and editorial process.
We accept no manufacturer funding, no sponsored content, and no advertising. Every article serves the reader, period.
